Singing and photography are both about finding beauty and what seems to be magical. There is a real similarity in learning to sing and photography. Both require great focus and concentration. Photography is about you and what you’re photographing; nothing else exists then, whether you’re photographing people, wildlife, or flowers. My job as a photographer, or voice teacher is to find the personality, the uniqueness, the emotional content, and of course, the beauty. It’s always there.
